Hi, I’m Jordan Clawson—an RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) and CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist). My background in therapeutic recreation has allowed me to work in clinical mental health care, adaptive recreation, and trauma-informed wellness, developing programs that support healing through movement, mindfulness, and connection.
I’ve designed and led therapeutic programs in a psychiatric care unit, taught yoga and breathwork for post-war veterans, shared meditation workshops in skilled nursing homes, and shared traditional yoga techniques for managing addiction. Through these experiences, I’ve witnessed powerful themes emerge: the healing nature of community, the essential role of joy and play, and the profound relief that comes from accessing meditative states.
Yoga, breathwork, and embodied practices have been transformative in my own life, guiding me toward greater clarity, self-trust, and peace. Now, my passion lies in holding space for others to explore these practices—helping them cultivate resilience, connection, and a deeper mind-body-spirit awareness.
Expertise
Yoga
Yoga, meaning ‘union,’ is a profound practice with many paths, all leading to the same destination—interconnectedness. It is the integration of mind, body, and spirit, offering a foundation of practices that cultivate conscious awakening and a life rooted in love.
Meditation
Sit, surrender, listen, and bow to your highest sense of knowing. Meditation offers the opportunity to quiet the mind and access pure potential. In our practice, we will use meditation as a tool to train the mind in concentration, stillness, and deep listening. It is the sacred space where you meet your divine truth. Together, we will explore various entry points into this space, drawing from classical meditation styles as well as guided journeys that deepen intuition.
Breathwork
In yoga, the practice of breathwork is known as Pranayama—a powerful tool for directing the flow of energy within the body. Breath is one of our most vital functions, yet it is also one of the few we can consciously control, making it a profound gateway to transformation. Through intentional breathwork, we can shift our physical state, influence our mental landscape, and cultivate greater balance and awareness.
Authentic Relating
Through games, meaningful conversations, and opportunities for reflection, we cultivate a deeper understanding of ourselves and how we relate to the communities around us.
